Cultural Lifelines of the Pandemic

Previously recorded on September 30, 2021

This year we are celebrating Baltimore artists and organizers who have used the power of art and civic action to take care of our neighbors, our hearts, and our minds throughout Covid-19. As we continue to move through the pandemic and attempt to re-open campuses and our public spaces throughout Baltimore, 新沙巴体育投注_足球比分直播-平台*网址’s Constitution Day event this year aims to show appreciation to the local artists and organizers that used their work to cultivate joy, hope and positivity into the community. Join us as we highlight how integral their art, energy and mutual aid has been to our city’s survival during the era of COVID-19.

About the Mixed Media Speaker Series

The Mixed Media series engages groundbreaking artists, designers, educators, activists and public intellectuals in dialogue with the 新沙巴体育投注_足球比分直播-平台*网址 community and the many communities of Baltimore. The aim of the series is to build important and imaginative public events that explore the diversity of practice in our fields and the complex relationships between art, culture, identity, politics and belonging in the contemporary world.

Mixed media events take many forms: from lectures and panel discussions, to screenings, exhibitions, dialogues, and other forms of convening, both traditional and experimental.
