Statement

My main goal as an illustrator/animator is to be able to completely immerse the audience into the world of my creation. To be able to create a world that not just entertains, but to hold up against the close scrutiny of interested eyes. I aim to create illustrations where it’s brimming with backstory and lore, simply waiting to spill out at any given moment. 

I’ve always been in love with stories and shows where the devil is in the detail – in which every detail on the set is thought out and executed to perfection.  

From scratched out posters to used coffee mugs – I find myself drawn to these minute details. These tiny little window-dressing moments add an illusion of history towards static images, resulting in a much more stimulating experience. 

To me, this is the best way to truly immerse the viewer in the world, by giving them snippets of the deeper world that exists beyond the illustration.
