The exhibition by Kate Perez, Anna Brackett, and Linah Sedeek will be on view from January 24 - February 18 in the Gateway Gallery and also will have an opening reception from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, February 4. Weave, layer, iterate, overlay, abstract. We identify ourselves in the way we conceptualize space using a multitude of architectural systems. From this, we generate spatial interventions and explorations. Guided by workflows of alternating computer-aided and manual design, we utilize CAD programs, sewing, weaving, printmaking, 3D printing, collage, assemblage, and laser cutting to create a dialogue between two-dimensional forms and three-dimensional ways of thinking. Command: Visualize is a retrospective of our methodologies as emerging designers in an increasingly digitized world. This is a Student Space Gallery exhibition.
