The Space for Creative Black Imagination is co-founded by Dr. Mel Michelle Lewis and Dr. Raél Jero Salley, who is currently director.  As both artists and scholars, Dr. Lewis and Dr. Salley see responses to urgent questions about culture, race, and social justice as opportunity for new paradigms and imaginings that are unfettered by conventional constraints of disciplinarity, scale, material, or process. Generous funding and institutional support for The Space for Creative Black Imagination is provided by Dr. Sheri Parks and 新沙巴体育投注_足球比分直播-平台*网址’s President, Sammy Hoi.
